Well its a while that I posted something on this page. For sure there are reasons for this: 1st of all my daily work schedule get more and more filled up. I already got the feeling that my workday should have 48 hours instead of 8-12. Besides this my family and I have a big private project: we currently build our own house which consumes than the rest of the time every day. What happens in since October at work: a lot of projects of course. We opened a new head quarter in Milpitas CA, which was my 2010 Q3 project (network install LAN/WAN/WLAN, cabling, move support). Then my next US trip was beginning 2011. I traveled to Malta/Saratoga Springs NY state to support the network install/turn on for our new semiconductor Fab – also called Fab8. After this I tried to finish one of my longer term projects „global deployment of Cisco GetVPN – encryption for our global MPLS network“. Unfortunately the turn on failed and we run into a Cisco bug which caused a crash on two core routers in one of our data centers. I will post another article which more details on this.
Meanwhile i supported a data center design and work on the turn on for a new office in Abu Dhabi.
